Hawk atop the statue in front of the Museum of Fine Arts

Max spotted a hawk performing a balancing act on Dallin's Appeal to the Great Spirit in front of the MFA this morning.

There's a statue downtown that can commiserate.

Quick google search:

"Hawks are often seen as a symbol of power in Native American cultures. Like eagles, they are symbols of courage and strength. In some tribes, such as the Cheyenne, hawks are associated with protection from enemies."

The day after Indigenous Peoples' Day I would say this hawk is in exactly the right place.
