If only we had a chyron for cancellations

New commenting turned off as we begin the Great UHub Migration. Back later today.

Roslindale Village Main Street reports it's cancelled the Winter Farmers Market scheduled for Sunday morning because of the forecast snow.

Got a cancellation to announce? The Gary LaPierre Memorial Cancellation Report is standing by.

You had a Shelby Scott (RIP) for snow measurement.

Cancellation report link is not active.

Click it and it should bring up your mail program to send a cancellation report.

It says snow or shine right there on the front page

And then there's snow.

I think most of what Rwgfy posts is below-average trollage, but they’re not wrong here - the RVMS website (that Adam linked to) does say “snow or shine”, and the consensus forecast (as of 11:30pm on Friday) is for a mere 1-3” in the city, tops.

Even though it’s our first snow in quite a while that amount just doesn’t qualify as “heavy” to any self-respecting New Englander.

Not likely to be widespread power outages, so you'll be able to post your thoughtful and valued insights throughout the weekend

We have made the difficult decision to cancel the Winter Farmers Market this weekend (Sunday, January 7th) due to the snow storm. While we make every effort to hold the market rain, snow, or shine, we had to consider the safety of our shoppers and vendors. With the heavy snow predicted Sunday morning, we cannot risk holding this type of outdoor event. We appreciate your understanding!
