Let's see if ticket sales go down significantly. What does his contract say if that happens ? It's up to the almighty dollar.

Fenway Park is a big tourist attraction now, as evidenced by the hordes of other teams' fans the last two or three seasons. For every so-called serious fan who pays attention and can name the infield, there are four or five who are there for an afternoon or evening out. I grew up with baseball in the 70's, when it was a much bigger deal nationally, but nowadays my preferred sports are hockey and soccer. Fenway Sports Group has a lot on its plate, Liverpool contracts, an aging Penguins team, NASCAR, virtual golf, etc.

When tickets cost $20. Once ticket go back up, visitors will again decline.

It seems much of this country, an even an increasing number of people in Massachusetts and Boston, like and support men who try to control women.

Is how the labor movement won Q4 by a mere eight percentage points.

The uber/lyft one. I suspect it was a similar reason why question 5 lost. A lot of people were afraid that if workers get a living wage, they might have to pay a little more for their ride from the airport.

Apples and oranges.

If you have airplanes money, you have pay the guy who drove you to and from there money. I have no sympathy for people who feel otherwise.

All the back of house staff, not so much. And having two different "minimum" wages is ridiculous, not to mention leaving tipped workers more vulnerable to all kinds of abuse.

This is the outcome of John Henry choosing instead to spoil the first woman who ever touched his (expletive).

You know the one on the garage along Lansdowne which was kept up after JohnHenryCo. purchased the site?

Apparently, John, Tom, and Sam forgot that it should apply to their players as well.

Full Throttle Hypocrisy at 4 Jersey Street.

(Sweet Caroline plays while some doofus from Omaha sitting next to you yells along to the song when the Sox are down by 8).

I don't sing along when they're losing.

Four seasons without NESN, and three games attended total in the last three seasons.

...wthout designated hitters, pitch clocks, robot umpires, or any other perversions. And no billionaire owners allowed; let all the teams be be like the Green Bay Packers.

Now the commissioner of MLB is floating a hilarious "golden at bat" rule, which would end baseball as we know it. Gotta get Ohtani in there more, he's the sport's meal ticket.

I saw him play in Pittsburgh last summer. Briefly. I think he managed to get one or two batters out before the manager took the ball from him.

Aside from allegedly being an alleged domestic abuser, he's not even a very good pitcher any more.

Over pay for washed up players and let young talented players go.
